IDEA Interns helping bridge business skills shortage

Jonathan Dadds and Omon Ikhide are amongst five graduates from the University of Essex that have joined BT through IDEA Ltd on twelve month placements within software development teams looking at projects that would have previously been delivered abroad.

Commenting on his experience Jonathan said “ I’ve learnt so much in my time with BT, this is a fantastic opportunity provided by IDEA, and I have carried on learning throughout my experience. The classroom may have taught me the theory but I’ve learnt so much more already through my internship”.

Dr Peter Funnell, Chief Executive of IDEA Ltd reinforced this commenting: “This internship scheme has been a successful and innovative development.
